Turbo OutRun Reimagined v0.3.8f alpha by Sk1ds

Choose one of the four most desirable sports cars in 80’s gaming history and blast your way through 5 races within the time limit while trying to stay in front of your opponent!
Need more speed? Press the turbo boost button for more power! Make sure you keep an eye on the temperature gauge as it will rise quickly. If the temperature goes above 103°C, the turbo boost can not be activated.
Be gentle with your fancy ride. Crashing into the scenery will damage it. After each race you get the chance to swap parts. None less than my own father -rest his soul- will tell you which part is still OK and which isn’t (if you didn’t knew already by the stuttering engine, the smoking radiator, …). You can even upgrade your car! Make sure you choose the right parts because everything will affect your car’s performance and the wear on the other parts.
Good car control is the key to victory. A heavy foot will make the tires lose traction, going hard on the brakes while steering will send the car in a straight line. An Xbox controller is recommended as the analog controls give you more control over the car. You can also choose a lower difficulty with ABS and traction control enabled. To all drifting fans: sorry. Not in this game (yet?).
Difficulties:
– 5 speed automatic: most forgiving time limit and ABS and traction control are activated, so you can brake while steering. Ideal for beginners or keyboard users.
– 2 speed manual: time limit is tighter, ABS is on, TC is off.
– 5 speed manual: time limit is brutal, no ABS, no TC. Xbox controller is highly recommended!

How to play:  on the Dropbox page, click “download”, after downloading, unpack the zip-file to a folder and run “Turbo Outrun Reimagined.exe”.
