Throwup Club is an intricate choice-heavy psychological medicore thriller about an amnesiac facing both real and mental horrors within a world akin to an endless, liminal hospital. The game itself is what I like to call an RCN (Roleplay & Click Novel) – a fusion genre of Visual Novel, RPG, and Point-&-Click games that centers around distressing content and how people choose to cope with trauma. Uncover the secrets of this strange world, and the ones lying within your own forgotten memories. Will you accept your limitations, or will you dive deep into delusion for a chance at hope?

The world of Throwup Club is heavily inspired by the works and the aesthetics of Yami Kawaii, Liminality, Traumacore, and both Modern & Pastel Goth. It features a long, diverse, and dark soundtrack done by lolratz combining elements of Breakcore, Hyperpop, and Witch House music genres.
Throwup Club’s Sanitoria is full of disturbing secrets, and widespread mental challenges. Thankfully, you won’t have to be alone- Tsurine will have the opportunity of engaging in one of four different major romance routes. Each route and character will offer help in combat, a large influence on the story, and a slowburn yuri romance to tug at your heartstring implants! After all- dark places birth beautiful relationships. Just be wary of those with worse intentions. Where will you draw the lines between circumstance, intention, and abuse?
Disc 0 “Waking Up” has a good amount of content to experience : ~  2 to 7 hours of gameplay (time taken from players in the discord server), depending on how much secret content is discovered.  You can rush it and skip stuff, but those who poke around for a little will find heaps of hidden areas and characters.Disc 1 “The Short Way Down” is out now!! It’s much longer, with 4-30 hours of playtime full of emotional twists, turns, and secrets that require some heavy de-tec-tive work!
The full story has already been planned out and written in detail, and will be released in segments. The prologue release could also be considered a demo, but the content within it is still fairly larger than a lot of other VNs. I will always be regularly updating the game with new additional content in between major Disc releases.

Is this A.I. art? #

All art currently within the game is either made by me, purchased stock I’ve heavily edited and stitched, or made by me using multiple pictures from A.I. stitched and edited together. I draw many elements of my art, like arms and eyes, and frames for animations, but not whole pieces. I use A.I. because I’m both terminally ill, and home-bound. I don’t have the money or ability to get money to fund such a large final passion project at the moment, or do all of the art on my own. HOWEVER. All donations that the game gets will go towards affording proper art for the game, and potentially life-saving surgeries. I don’t plan on making any money off donations until the game’s art has been completely covered, and I will also be digging into my pocket as much as I can to make it work**.** I have always supported and commissioned artists throughout my life, and that will never change. Supporting this game is supporting artists I’ll hire once I have the funds. I plan to get many sprites for many characters, as well as many splash screens to bring colorful scenes to life. No machine can replace the passion I want this game to be illustrated with**.
