Prototypes for Playdate by gingerbeardman

This collection of prototypes will grow over time. Buying it now means you get all future prototypes for free. The price will increase as more “playable” prototypes are added.

I say some are “playable”: they may be controllable, but they are not full games:

  • Crank Ski (crank controls)
  • Kuranku (dodgy collision detection)
  • Mancala (random cpu skill)
  • Rotator (crank to aim and buttons to move)
  • Zen (crank to aim, a/b to rake, d-pad to move)
  • Boing (a to jump, b to ground pound to shrink ball)
  • Cranxious (d-pad to cut areas off; broken)
  • Heno-Heno (Gunpey clone: d-pad to move, a to swap; no removal)
  • Parabowl (d-pad to move the ball around)
  • Rocket Man (d-pad and buttons to fly around)
  • Eggdog (d-pad/crank to aim, hold a to power-up, release a to move)
  • **NEW! **KOATARI (crank to aim, a button to release ball)
  • **NEW! **Reflectile (crank to aim, a button to move, collect numbers)

Others are technical demos:

  • Band-kun (mockup of map screen & user interface)
  • Shadow (technical demo for shade of grey)
  • Sparrow Solitaire (shuffle and deal only)
  • Soccer (pitch pattern, zoom and scroll)

Games taken on by other developers:

Most of my future prototypes will end up in this collection.
