Otto’s beloved city of Vaudeville, has been beset by mysterious forces bent on eliminating any form of amusement! The new mayor, LeStache, has big plans for entertainment and a newly instated force “De Fun Police” to carry them out. All the while, a never-before-seen entity is destroying toons from the inside out.
Fortunately for the characters of Vaudeville, Otto is a quick-witted, highly talented aspiring hero, with dexterity and comedic instinct. All Otto needs to do is get out of their house and into Vaudeville so they can help their friends and save the day!**Community-Powered!**In addition to our main dev team, Monochrome RPG is being built by a collaboration of over a hundred artists, programmers, and writers! Through commission processes we call “pipelines”, we’ve brought together the creative ideas of as many people as we can to develop Monochrome far past beyond what any single developer could imagine, evolving Monochrome RPG into a fully-fledged, diverse world!**A Passion Project Years in the Making…What once began as a small creative hobby between three friends eventually flourished into the full project you see before you! Monochrome has reached far past the bounds of what anyone ever thought possible, and we hope to keep adding new voices and minds to it, developing the story and characters beyond our wildest dreams!“How Can I Help?”**Otto’s story is well underway, we’ve got thousands of assets and we’ll need a thousand more to complete the game.
