Meanie Golf: An 18 hole mini-golf game for your 48k ZX Spectrum home computer (or emulator).
It’s feeding time at Monster Castle minigolf course. Feed the monsters beneath by pow-ing the meanies into each hole. Try to make less shots than par.
Choose from the main menu if you would like to play single player or two player (hot seat). There is also a practice mode if you’d like to choose a particular hole and play that without progressing to the others.
Once you’ve chosen a single or 2 player game, you can then choose whether to play 9 holes of the course or the full 18 holes.
The game is a top-down mini golf game. Use the left and right keys to line up your shot (the moving reticule should help you to see where the ball will go). Press and hold the fire button. The longer you hold down the fire button, the more powerful your shot will be. The POW-ER bar in the bottom right is there to help give you a guide for how hard you are hitting shots.
Play with the Spectrum keyboard or with Kempston or Sinclair compatible joysticks.
Keyboard controls (redefinable from main menu):
- O – Turn Left
- P – Turn Right
- SPACE – Take the shot
- H – Toggle pause
