DVR Simulator is a Drone Racing FPV Simulator. It features two flight modes, Freestyle and Racing. Finally, you can use a supported (Virtual Reality) VR headset to simulate the FPV goggles if you have one! The simulator also supports Helicopters and soon Airplanes.

An in-game editor allows you to tweak your drone/helicopter physics. You can also save your profiles and use them later.
Gamepads are supported and enabled by default. But it’s very recommended to use a real radio-transmitter. The simulator have three input engines and a calibration process to support as many radio-transmitters as possible. Note that on Meta Quest, RC-transmitter and gamepad are not yet supported, but we’re working on it.

Supported VR Headsets #

DVR Simulator supports the OpenXR standard, that means any headset using this runtime. Note that VR is also supported on the Linux operating system family.

Supported VR Modes #

Monoscopic: The same image on both eye, exactly like real FPV goggles. No motion sickness with this mode because it’s like watching a big cinema screen
Stereo: Full 3D and very intensive, don’t use that mode if you’re sensible to motion sickness
