Agatha died on her last adventure, and her soul now wanders through the terrifying forest of Durnwich. 
Waldo lost an eye in a fight, but he managed to save his uncle’s ghost.
The forest is still cursed, and according to Waldo’s uncle, the curse is due to the existence of a “Great Old Ones” that was summoned and now inhabits the old caves. 
The uncle also told Waldo that only a cat can kill the monster.
The adventure begins when Waldo returns to the forest, which is infested with evil creatures. 
He comes to a cave and finds an old soul-converting machine, which is broken due to lack of energy.
In the forest, Waldo meets the ghost of Agatha, who tells him that somewhere very cold there is a bottle with the remains of her soul. 
Waldo has an idea: if he can fix the machine and use Agatha’s soul, he can transform into a cat and, as a cat, eliminate the primordial, which is called Thulhu.
Waldo must travel through the world of ice, the enchanted forest, and the haunted castle to reach Thulhu, who is lurking deep in the earth.

Agatha falleció en su última aventura y su alma deambula por el terrorífico bosque de Durnwich.
 Waldo perdió un ojo en una pelea pero logró salvar al fantasma de su tío.
El Bosque de Durnwich sigue maldito y por lo que le contó el tío a Waldo la maldición se debe a la existencia de un primordial que fue convocado y habita las viejas cuevas  y que solo un gato puede matar al monstruo.

La aventura comienza cuando Waldo vuelve al bosque  que está plagado de cosas malignas, llega a una cueva y encuentra una vieja máquina convertidora de almas, la cúal está descompuesta por falta de energía.

En el bosque se encuentra con el fantasma de Agatha quien le cuenta que en algún lugar muy frio se encuentra una botella con los restos de su alma.

Waldo tiene una idea, arreglando la maquina y usando el alma de Agatha puede transformarse en un gato y así , siendo un gato eliminar al primordial llamado THULU.
Waldo debe atravesar el mundo de hielo , el bosque encantado y el castillo embrujado para terminar su aventura enfrentando al THULU en lo profundo de la tierra.

Agatha morreu em sua última aventura e sua alma agora vagueia pela terrível floresta de Durnwich. Waldo perdeu um olho em uma luta, mas conseguiu salvar o fantasma de seu tio.
A floresta ainda está amaldiçoada e, de acordo com o tio de Waldo, a maldição é devido à existência de um primordial que foi convocado e agora habita as antigas cavernas. O tio também disse a Waldo que apenas um gato pode matar o monstro.
A aventura começa quando Waldo retorna à floresta, que está infestada de criaturas malignas. Ele chega a uma caverna e encontra uma velha máquina de converter almas, que está quebrada por falta de energia.
Na floresta, Waldo encontra o fantasma de Agatha, que lhe diz que em algum lugar muito frio há uma garrafa com os restos de sua alma. Waldo tem uma ideia: se ele conseguir consertar a máquina e usar a alma de Agatha, ele pode se transformar em um gato e, como um gato, eliminar o primordial, que é chamado Thulhu.
Waldo deve viajar pelo mundo do gelo, pela floresta encantada e pelo castelo assombrado para chegar a Thulhu, que está à espreita nas profundezas da terra.
